First lady, Edith Okowa set up business for 81 deltans

The Delta State Government has once again shown its commitment in job creation by distributing starter packs to 81 beneficiaries of the skills training and entrepreneurship programme tagged “Brown Step‘ in Asaba recently.

The distribution of the starter parks was done by the wife of the governor, Dame Edith Okowa. Presenting the starker parks to the beneficiaries, the governor‘s wife  charged them to put their starter packs and money into good use so as to grow their businesses to enviable heights and contribute to eradication of unemployment in the state.

She commended them for acquiring vocational skills despite their academic qualifications, urging them to continue in their stead of self employment and creating employment for others through their enterprises. Related
